99% correct except for the last detail

The goody goody practical who sees the big picture.
Otherwise known as a goody goody. You work hard in
school so you get good grades and go to a good
college so you can get a good job. The logic
is flawless. You're a little uninteresting.

alt_tag
You chose brown eyes.
Brown eyed people are normally very romantic. You
love to daydream, and sometimes you get
confused with your own fantasies over reality.
You are pretty outgoing, but some days, all you
want to be, is alone, reading, or thinking by
yourself. You have many talants, and you will
probably have a very important job when you're
older.

the bluprint for success

the magazine i've had my internship with has finally released the issue. i really thank God for giving me that opportunity--it was an experience like no other. i miss going to various places, doing shoots, designing sets, writing articles, and even researching (something i really don't normally like to do.) i know only a priviledged few get to have their name and work printed on a mag, so much more, even have something good written about them. I am but one of them. ultimately, everything that happened during that fruitful and fun summer was because of God's limitless grace. He gives the blueprint for His children's success.

in line with this post i would like to say thank you to the following MMPI people: Bernice, Almira, Hazel, Verl, Jean, Jerome, mr. W, mang Edgar, and mr. Alcazaren.

...and Kirsten my ever reliable co-intern and travel buddy from Arneo! haha!

(this post seems a little too cheesy... forgive me people. haha)

she (tous les visages de l’amour)

She
May be the face I can’t forget
A trace of pleasure or regret
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay
She may be the song that summer sings
May be the chill that autumn brings
May be a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day.

She
May be the beauty or the beast
May be the famine or the feast
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell
She may be the mirror of my dreams
A smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem
Inside her shell

She who always seems so happy in a crowd
Whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one’s allowed to see them when they cry
She may be the love that cannot hope to last
May come to me from shadows of the past
That I’ll remember till the day I die

She
May be the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I’m alive
The one I’ll care for through the rough and ready years
Me I’ll take her laughter and her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
For where she goes I’ve got to be
The meaning of my life is

She, she, she

about hope

I Corinthians 13:12; Romans 8:24,25; Hebrews 6:18,19;
Psalm 42:8; Hebrews 12:2; I Thessalonians 4

This Side of the Grave

On this side of the grave
the mirror is dark;
We don't see You plainly.
On this side of the grave,
We are walking by faith;
as You teach us to trust You.

Yes, our vision is dim
On this side of the grave;
as we walk by the light
that you give us each hour.
With our nearsighted eyes,
we have but veiled glimpses
of Your majesty, glory, and power.

On this side of the grave,
We are walking by faith,
We can't see You, Lord.
On this side of the grave
We are living in hope,
For we love You, and we praise You
from this side of the grave.

Still we wait for the time
and we cling to the hope

that anchors us steadfast,
that carries us on:

When we lift up our eyes,
and the veil of the skies is rent open
And we thrill to the shout,
to the voice that calls out,
Come on home now!
And HIs Face
will erase
all the deafness and blindness and doubt
that plagued us
from this side of the grave.
